Il suo stile è leggero e molto efficace, linee sottili, pochi colori e un abile uso di china e photoshop. È in grado di cambiare stile da progetto a progetto, diventando ora cartoonist per libri d’infanzia, ora illustratore capace di disegnare quello che vuole, senza preoccuparsi troppo degli altri illustratori e del lavoro. Dice in una sua intervista:
It’s only recently that I’ve started bookmarking other illustrators websites and feeling excited about stuff to be honest. I don’t know the name of any illustrators or designers off the top of my head and I don’t really spend much time thinking about it.
